July is approaching, and this means that ISBE 2026 is just around the corner.
ISBE stands for the International Society for Behavioral Ecology, and its congress is one of the main international events dedicated to behavioural ecology. The 2026 edition will take place in Turin, Italy, from 20 to 24 July, bringing together researchers from around the world to discuss the evolution, ecology, and diversity of animal behaviour.
EvOCRO will be present through a poster presentation. Although the poster will not focus exclusively on EvOCRO, it will explore recent advances in the study of reptile cognition over the last 25 years — a topic closely connected to the broader scientific context of our project.
This year’s conference is particularly special: not only will it take place in Europe, but also very close to home, just a few days after leaving Mexico. Two birds with one stone!
I will share more updates after the congress.
