Upcoming: ECBB 2026

Anglia Ruskin University is pleased to announce that it will host ECBB 2026, the European Conference for Behavioural Biology, in Cambridge from 1 to 4 September 2026.

ECBB is a major European conference dedicated to the study of animal behaviour, bringing together students, researchers, and experts to discuss the latest discoveries and advances in behavioural biology. The theme of this year’s conference will be Animal Behaviour in the Anthropocene.

EvOCRO will be present in several ways. Prof Claudia Wascher and I are both part of the Core Organising Group, with Claudia acting as one of the official coordinators. In addition, Prof Anna Wilkinson and I are organising a symposium titled “Practical and Theoretical Challenges in Reptile and Amphibian Behaviour: A Bridge Between Methods, Ecology, and Innovation”, with keynote speakers Dr Stephan Reber and Dr Birgit Szabó.

I will also give my first conference talk. I am much more used to presenting posters, but sooner or later this moment had to come!

I will share an update in September after the conference. In the meantime, there is still time to register as an attendee.
